FallingBall — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the FallingBall mobile game (the “App”) collects, uses, and protects your information. The App is operated by the App developer (“we”, “us”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

You can play FallingBall without creating an account. If you choose to sign in, we collect the following:

Account information (via Sign in with Apple): a unique user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email that hides your real address.
Profile data: the username and country you set in the App.
Game progress: your high score, in-game currency (coins and diamonds), and owned items, so your progress can be saved and synced across your devices.
Leaderboard data: your username, country, and high score, which are shown to other players on the public leaderboard.
Purchase data: when you buy diamonds, the purchase is processed by Apple and validated by RevenueCat. We receive a record that a purchase occurred; we never receive or store your payment card details.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or device microphone/camera data. The App contains no third-party advertising and no analytics tracking SDKs.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
To save and synchronize your game progress across devices.
To display and rank players on the public leaderboard.
To process and validate in-app purchases and protect against fraudulent transactions.
To maintain the security and proper operation of the App.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

Apple — Sign in with Apple & App Store In-App Purchases. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
Google Firebase (Authentication & Cloud Firestore). Used to authenticate users and store game progress and leaderboard data. See Firebase Privacy and Security.
RevenueCat. Used to validate in-app purchase receipts. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account (see Section 5), the associated data is removed from our active systems. Backups maintained by our service providers may persist for a limited time before being overwritten.

5. Deleting Your Account and Data

You can permanently delete your account at any time directly within the App:

Open the App and tap your profile (the login badge at the top-left of the main menu).
Tap “Delete Account” and confirm.

This permanently erases your profile (username, country), your saved game progress, and your leaderboard entry, and deletes your authentication record. This action cannot be undone. Diamonds and other consumable items purchased through the App are non-refundable and are not restored.

6. Children’s Privacy

FallingBall is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict its processing. You can exercise the deletion right at any time using the in-app account deletion feature, or by contacting us using the details below.

8. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored using the security measures provided by Apple, Google Firebase, and RevenueCat. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
